There are a few more parts to the interview. They are all pretty interesting. Be sure to check out all of them on YouTube.
Watching this video really got me thinking. What is the definition of natural hair? For some people, natural means strictly using all natural products such as shea butter and olive oil. Therefore, products like my favorite Tresemme Naturals would be a no no because it has ingredients that you cannot necessarily pronounce. These ingredients would be considered chemicals. For me, natural means being completely relaxer free. Obviously, I don't mind using a few unpronounceable ingredients on my hair because my hair has responded well to them consistently. I do have my limits such as sulfates and silocones because my hair doesn't respond well to them compared to other ingredients. However, I definitely don't think that your personal desision makes one person better or worse than the other. When you find what works for your hair (all natural or not), keep using it and know that it may not work for the next person.
What is your definition of being natural?

Natural, to me, is no chemicals.
I believe it's when a person is free of chemicals (no perms, texturizers, no products that can chemically alter the hair structure.)
Thanks for your comments. I totally agree with you. I consider myself natural because I don't use products that alter my natural curl pattern.
